BAWANG Hair product discussion

Once again would love to thanks Fr3b and Bawang (Hannah Holding) for this invite on 23 July 2010.

Me with Shirleen again~

Enjoyed myself and get to know few more bloggers! ♥
This invite has broadened my knowledge of hair products by a little hehee and now i know all shampoos contained this ingredient >> 1,4-Dioxane. I have never use their product before and honestly speaking all the while i thought that they are targeting mainly hair loss problems(hopefully i don't need them in the future). Now i know that they do carrys other range as well such as ~

Ginseng Deep Revitalizing Shampoo
Polygonum Hair Thickening Shampoo
Tea-seed Itch Relief Shampoo
Hair Strengthening Shampoo
Repairing & Nourishing Shampoo
Anti- Dandruff Shampoo
Hair Darkening Shampoo Professional Pack
Anti- Hair Fall Shampoo
Ginseng Conditioner

I believed that some of you may have heard the recent rumours regarding about Bawang products pertaining 1,4-Dioxane, which were found from some shampoo products of Bawang (Guangzhou) Company Limited.

Thus Guangzhou Provincial Food & Drug Administration Bureau took the following regulatory actions by carrying out physical inspection on the company premises and brought back relevant product samples from the company manufacturing plant for further tests.

The test results on the collected samples showed that the contents of 1,4-Dixoane which had been detected from the samples will not jeopardize the health of consumers.

According to the industry’s experts and researches, 1,4-Dioxane is prevalent in our daily necessities such as water, air and food. Similarly, 1,4-Dioxane can be found in most if not all shampoos, shower products and cosmetic merchandises. This substance is not an intentional ingredient but a technically unavoidable by-product inherited from the combination of raw materials during the production process. In addition, the level of 1,4-Dioxane that is found in BAWANG shampoo is certified to be so mild that it poses no threat to consumer health and well-being at all. To date, there has been no report of consumers suffering from ill-effects after using cosmetic products containing 1,4-Dioxane i.e. shampoos, shower foams, facial cleaner etc, etc.

BAWANG International has always strictly followed the State’s laws and regulations in our product development, production process and sales efforts. With regards to this incident, there is no doubt that BAWANG shampoo has passed SFDA’s inspection with flying colors as it is certified to contain a 1,4-Dioxane level far lower than the lowest safety requirement of any health organization in the world, including EU and the United States FDA.

The reports have stated BAWANG shampoos to be safe for consumer use as it poses no threat whatsoever to consumer health.

*Please take note - of the Parallel Imports as they are neither covered by insurance, scientific reports nor product indemnity. Furthermore, there is a real danger of counterfeit fakeries. With this in mind, the Hannah logo and distributorship will continue to play an important part in BAWANG’s quality control.

Remember to identify the "Beware of counterfeit" seal when you are purchasing them.
