My review:
I tried the hydrating ones. Aplenty serum inside and it comes in gel form instead of the usual tissue sheet masks. Usually i'll chilled the mask first as it will help to relieve puffiness and pressure in the sinuses. It sit on my eyes perfectly but seems to slide down my eye area in the first few mins, maybe too much serum on the mask. I left it on for about 20-25mins.
I guess the essence has much penetrated into my skin as the mask feel "dry" upon removal. I can't see any difference as it's my first time using it. However i can feel that my eye area doesn't look so tired.  :)
Removal of the mask is easy : simply peel off from the side. It doesn't pull or stretch my skin at all unlike other brands.

Direction:
1. After cleansing, wipe it dry.
2. Apply eye mask on your eye
3. Tap the remaining essence all over your face. Do not need to rinse with water.

BAWANG Hair product discussion

Once again would love to thanks Fr3b and Bawang (Hannah Holding) for this invite on 23 July 2010.

Me with Shirleen again~

Enjoyed myself and get to know few more bloggers! ♥
This invite has broadened my knowledge of hair products by a little hehee and now i know all shampoos contained this ingredient >> 1,4-Dioxane. I have never use their product before and honestly speaking all the while i thought that they are targeting mainly hair loss problems(hopefully i don't need them in the future). Now i know that they do carrys other range as well such as ~

Ginseng Deep Revitalizing Shampoo
Polygonum Hair Thickening Shampoo
Tea-seed Itch Relief Shampoo
Hair Strengthening Shampoo
Repairing & Nourishing Shampoo
Anti- Dandruff Shampoo
Hair Darkening Shampoo Professional Pack
Anti- Hair Fall Shampoo
Ginseng Conditioner

I believed that some of you may have heard the recent rumours regarding about Bawang products pertaining 1,4-Dioxane, which were found from some shampoo products of Bawang (Guangzhou) Company Limited.

Thus Guangzhou Provincial Food & Drug Administration Bureau took the following regulatory actions by carrying out physical inspection on the company premises and brought back relevant product samples from the company manufacturing plant for further tests.

The test results on the collected samples showed that the contents of 1,4-Dixoane which had been detected from the samples will not jeopardize the health of consumers.

According to the industry’s experts and researches, 1,4-Dioxane is prevalent in our daily necessities such as water, air and food. Similarly, 1,4-Dioxane can be found in most if not all shampoos, shower products and cosmetic merchandises. This substance is not an intentional ingredient but a technically unavoidable by-product inherited from the combination of raw materials during the production process. In addition, the level of 1,4-Dioxane that is found in BAWANG shampoo is certified to be so mild that it poses no threat to consumer health and well-being at all. To date, there has been no report of consumers suffering from ill-effects after using cosmetic products containing 1,4-Dioxane i.e. shampoos, shower foams, facial cleaner etc, etc.

BAWANG International has always strictly followed the State’s laws and regulations in our product development, production process and sales efforts. With regards to this incident, there is no doubt that BAWANG shampoo has passed SFDA’s inspection with flying colors as it is certified to contain a 1,4-Dioxane level far lower than the lowest safety requirement of any health organization in the world, including EU and the United States FDA.

The reports have stated BAWANG shampoos to be safe for consumer use as it poses no threat whatsoever to consumer health.

*Please take note - of the Parallel Imports as they are neither covered by insurance, scientific reports nor product indemnity. Furthermore, there is a real danger of counterfeit fakeries. With this in mind, the Hannah logo and distributorship will continue to play an important part in BAWANG’s quality control.

Remember to identify the "Beware of counterfeit" seal when you are purchasing them.

Make Up For Ever - Lift Concealer

I have raved about how much i love my Macquillage concealer. Now i would like to share with you this "Lift Concealer" from Make Up Forever. In U.S, it was highly recommended and raved by beauty bloggers and make up artists. I decided to give it a try after reading so many positive comments in the forums.

Click here to know which are the 13 Best Concealers?

I am using this shade - Shade #3

This is more than a concealer as it contained "itensine", an active ingredient with skin-firming properties for the eye area, and vitamins A and E, which regenerate the skin. I was told by Sephora staffs that it will also helped to pump up the lines around your forehead and mouth(laughing lines).
Not only that, this multi-purpose product also concealed specific, darker areas (brown spots, blotches, etc.) and can be used as a highlighter on the more prominent parts of the face (cheekbones, forehead, and chin) for added radiance.

It comes in 3 shades only.
#1 - Fairest
#2 - Darkest
#3 - Medium (It just came out recently after lots of people requested)

It doesn't feel thick nor greasy as compared to my macquillage concealer; it doesn't really covered much of my dark circles but it seems to brighten up my eye area. My eye area is oily but it stayed matt through out the whole day. Helped to conceal my laughing lines but not those around my forehead. :(
I admit i shouldn't have put so much hope and thought this is a miracle product for covering lines. :P
After all, it's still a cosmetic not skincare so i shouldn't expect so much next time.

After you applied, simply dab on the area that you wish to conceal but do not rub.
If you want to cover your lines, apply it before and after applying your powder.

*Rem! Do not rub when you are applying your concealer, if you rub you are actually rubbing it off.

Pro: light and non-greasy. Brightened eye area. Blendable. Long-lasting.
Con: Couldn't covered dark circles and lines.

SK-II

ADVANCED WHITENING SOURCE PANCAKE EX

One of my good friends gave this to me.
At first i thought it's just another normal foundation and more over it's targeting more on whitening.
I never thought that it would help much in concealing my pores and controlling oil sebum, but hey i was wrong!!

The smooth powder glide on easily to my face after i applied my bb cream and it gave a matt look. LOVE! It concealed my pores well and the coverage is medium to build-able which i quite like it! My face oxidise fast but this foundation really help to keep my face looking radiant for almost 8 hours and the plus point is that it doesn't clog my pores! :)

How about oil control?
I still need to blot my face every 5 hours.

Advanced Whitening Source Pancake Ex provides natural coverage of spots, freckles, pores and other skin imperfections for a flawless-looking finish. It contains MT Blocker P (Vitamin C derivative, Vitamin B3 and Pitera®) and Inositol, an ingredient that is also present in Whitening Source Derm-Revival Program. The secret to achieving this lies in its perfect blend of powders of three different sizes, which fills in pores and provides natural coverage of skin troubles. The unique blend of four pearl powders – cream, blue, pink and white - creates depth for light reflection, helping dull skin achieve a translucent finish. --> I took them from SK-II website.

Here's a pic of me having the foundation on.

The foundation is retailing at $70 or $72 if i'm not wrong - really expensive!

Double Eye-lid

I scanned the pics from "POPTEEN", talking about how different ladies create their double eye-lids using tapes or glue.
I have inner double eye lid and that makes me really very frustrated as i need to spend lots of time either using the glue or tape. None is fast and all required skill and i am always taking donkeys years to get it done. I HATE IT! Easiest way out is to go eye surgery which i really thought of.

Pics scanned from POPTEEN!

The tape seem to be visible after few hours and mm...so far the glue is the best!

I bought and tried lots of brand and types of tapes and glue.
See! Crazy girl bought so many different tapes of tapes and glue.

Lots of Japanese girls are using this, is a sticky thin tape in between it and you need to pull both side,
and stick it 2-3mm above your eye lid. You will need to cut away both end when you are done.

This is what i meant, you need to cut away both end, refer to pic below.
You got to be very careful in case you cut your own skin.
Last step, you need to use the applicator to push it in.

You think which is better?
I'll prefer glue ~
